Cogniply is a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) and not a company with separate legal personality. There is no limited-liability entity behind the trade name: the proprietor contracts in their own name, signs in their own name, and answers personally for the obligations of the business.

The trade name "Cogniply", the proprietor, and "we" or "us" in our documents all refer to the same legal person.

All prices shown on this site and at checkout exclude value-added tax (VAT). Any VAT or other sales tax that applies to your order is calculated and added at checkout based on your billing country and, where applicable, a valid VAT identification number you provide.

Intra-EU business customers who supply a valid VAT number are treated under the reverse-charge procedure, where the rules allow it.

Billing for ReconcileAI is handled by Paddle.com Inc., which acts as the merchant of record for all orders. This means your contract for a paid subscription is with Paddle, Paddle issues the invoice and receipts, collects payment and applicable VAT, and handles refunds and billing enquiries.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. You can review your invoices, update payment details, or cancel from the hosted customer portal on the Billing page, or contact Paddle directly.
